Lyme disease

Lyme disease is received from a tick bite (ticks usually come from deer populated area) and cause an abnormality in skin, joints, nervous system, and even the heart.

Symptoms of this disease: Within days or weeks, in the area of the tick bite (usually in the upper leg/thigh), a "Bull's-eye ring" or a red ring starts to appear. Also a redness of the skin usually results to generalized fatigue, muscle and joint stiffness, swollen lymph nodes ("swollen glands"), and a headache that often times relates to a virus infection.

Body system(s) affected: Abnormality in Skin (integumentary), Nervous (Nervous system), Heart (Cardiovascular), and Joints (Skeletal)

-Lyme disease is mainly found at the New England and Michigan/Illinois area.
-It can be treated by antibiotics for up to 3-4 weeks. More difficult cases might take longer.
-Without treatment, there could be Long-term health problems.
